U5 works in a wide range of mediums: Brightly coloured plastic parts form modellike structures, shiny sculptures and exuberant architectural constructions oscillate between the natural and the artificial and finally, video works, and live stream images show a work in process or overlay different pieces of art. There is an eternal accumulation of (often junk) material subtly alluding to Science Fiction, Pop-Culture, Myths or Utopia. U5 practices various types of participation and interaction as forms of collaboration and challenging therewith the notion of individual authorship.
