BAZ’ART 5\u00e8me \u00e9dition, d\u00e9j\u00e0!!……. cette fois les chantiers sont derri\u00e8res (ou presque), BAZ’ART reprend donc ses quartiers dans la cour du 8 Rue Lissignol!! on se r\u00e9jouit!!! Comme d’habitude sinon, BAZ’ART sera \u00e0 nouveau monumental, et infiniment intimiste, \u00e7a d\u00e9pend ce que vous d\u00e9ciderez d’aller voir…… osez pousser les portes, BAZ’ART comme d’habitude demande aux visiteurs curiosit\u00e9s, ponctualit\u00e9s et ouverture d’\u00e9coutilles maximale,\u00a0<\/span>mais pas un sous! Baz\u2019Art est enti\u00e8rement gratuit!<\/b>…… Soyez-l\u00e0!!<\/p>\n

Riche de quatre ann\u00e9es d’exp\u00e9rience et d’une volont\u00e9 totalement non commerciale, BAZ’ART offre une plate-forme non-conventionnelle et veut promouvoir des jeunes artistes en marge du concept de march\u00e9 de l\u2019art. Baz\u2019art valorise la cr\u00e9ation artistique locale, en soutenant et en renfor\u00e7ant les r\u00e9seaux cr\u00e9atifs existants, en se d\u00e9tachant de l\u2019\u0153uvre artistique r\u00e9glement\u00e9e, organis\u00e9e et trop souvent \u00e9litiste, en rendant celle-ci accessible au plus large public possible. Baz’art, c’est intervenir ensemble sur l\u2019espace public.

BAZ\u2019ART is a platform for contemporary multidisciplinary creation, spreading lively urban art by transforming the street into a joyful undisciplined area. It came to life in 2010 in rue Lissignol, in Saint-Gervais. The neighbourhood stands out in Geneva for its community life and dynamic civic actions aimed at supportive coexistence. It\u2019s a unique urban island in Geneva \u2013 a model for a community habitat in town.<\/p>\n

BAZ\u2019ART overflows with artists and makes a point of enhancing the local artistic scene. Lissignol appeals as an ideal place for artistic experiments that express the bold desire the neighbourhood embodies: to offer urban spaces for expressions and exhibitions that stimulate, encourage and develop relationships between artists, shopkeepers and users of the public space.<\/p>\n

Some artists\u2019installations or concerts will take place in private homes. Access is therefore organised through guided tours or by inscription. Please sign up at the information stand, in rue Lissignol 8, on Saturday and Sunday between 1.30pm and 7pm.<\/p>\n

BAZ\u2019ART\u2019s central refreshment area, as well as the festival\u2019s information stand, are open on Saturday between 1.30 pm and 11.pm and on Sunday between 1.30 pm and 9pm.<\/p>\n

The event is completely free!<\/p>\n

The programme involves over 80 artists and includes interactive plastic art interventions, sound performances and installations, concerts in apartments, experimental music performances, and badge and sound creation workshops\u2026<\/p>\n

Most installations, performances or concerts are in situ creations, especially conceived for this unique platform and adapted to the different spaces.<\/p>\n

The festival will start on Saturday 14 of June at 2pm with two special performances: Plaintube, an Alpine horn concert, and the Direction Survet group on Sunday.<\/p>\n

This year, Baz\u2019art is especially looking forward to regaining use of the courtyard of rue Lissignol 8, which has been reopened after three years of renovation works. It\u2019s always been a place with a super-friendly atmosphere. To celebrate this, Baz\u2019art will end both evenings with two concerts that you can\u2019t miss. Pierre Omer\u2019s Swing Revue will close Saturday\u2019s festivities, and on Sunday there\u2019ll be a come back by the legendary What\u2019s wrong with us?<\/i> \u2026<\/p>\n

L’Association Baz’art de St – Gervais a pour but de favoriser la rencontre entre artistes et public dans les rues de St-Gervais.
